The mobile column structure lends the machine to a reduced floor space need as well as optimal accessibility, while the vertical table ensures an excellent chips evacuation.

ROTARY AXES WITH TORQUE MOTORS

The direct-drive dividing heads and spindle achieve relevant dynamic performances, maximizing machining efficiency, especially on airfoils leading and trailing edges.

HIGH DYNAMICS

The linear and rotary axes have high dynamics (1 g acceleration for linear axes).

AUTOMATION

The machine has two free sides for interconnection with the external production lines.

In an ever-increasing digital and interconnected industrial world, machine tools play a fundamental role in integrated production management. To respond to these trends, C.B. Ferrari has designed the new A series with the A236 model, a high-precision, high-productivity multi-tasking machining centers (milling and turning) with moving column, able to fit into a production cycle both from the point of view of incoming and outgoing materials and of the information it is able to exchange with the outside world. The machining center has been designed to work small-medium turbine blades, made of materials such as steel, titanium and super alloys. A236 can also work impellers, blisks, details for the medical sector,  watch making, cams, special tool bodies and any other type of complex parts.
